Comedian Bernie Mac Dies!!!!!!

It is my sad duty to report that beloved comedian, Bernie Mac has passed away today in Chicago. According to his publicist Danica Smith, the 50 year old comedian died due to complications from pneumonia.

Bernie Mac is best known for his hit television show on Fox and a string of successful roles in various movies, such as "Bad Santa", "Mr. 3000" and the Ocean's trilogy, where he teamed up with Hollywood superstars Brad Pitt and George Clooney.

The successful comedian turned actor was taken away far too soon and he will be missed.

Our condolences go out to his family and friends.

Lil Scrappy arrested and stabbed!!!!!!!

Atlanta rapper Lil Scrappy was freed today (July 20) on a $1,500 bond after being stabbed and arrested on July 18.

According to Officer Marcus Hodge and the Atlanta Journal Constitution, the stabbing resulted from a domestic dispute involving Scrappy and his sister’s boyfriend in Dekalb County.

Scrappy’s sister allegedly called her sibling to her apartment on North Hairston Road due to an intense argument with her significant other.

Upon his arrival, Scrappy was stabbed in an ensuing scuffle, but did not suffer any serious internal injuries.

Despite being assaulted, Scrappy was charged with felony use of a weapon in the commission of a crime and felony marijuana possession.

The arrest was made after a search of the rapper’s vehicle.

In addition, Scrappy must contend with one count of police battery and misdemeanor obstruction of police officers.

While his role in the altercation has not been specified by police, the sister’s boyfriend was not charged with a crime.

Lil Scrappy celebrated the independent release of Prince of the South in May 2008. His third album, Grustle, is scheduled for release on December 5.

As press time, Scrappy and his management have declined to comment on the case.

DMX arreste in Zona!!!!!

DMX has been arrested and slapped with a felony charge of taking the identity of another at a Phoenix mall.

The rapper was arrested (July 19) in a Phoenix mall, due to an alleged incident at the Scottsdale Mayo clinic in April where the rapper was being treated for an illness.

While there, he allegedly used an alias, “Troy Jones,” and defaulted on a $7,500 bill.

DMX, real name Earl Simmons, was booked at the Maricopa County jail.

The arrest marks X’s fourth bust in two months, on charges that range from alleged illicit drug use to numerous motor vehicle violations.

On July 2, police arrested the rapper earlier this month at Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport.

On June 27, he was arrested in Miami for allegedly attempting to purchase cocaine and marijuana.

And on June 23, DMX was arrested in Miami for not having a valid driver’s license.

Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio feels that the rapper, real name Earl Simmons, has had more than enough opportunities to reform and deserves stiffer punishment.

“He’s back in jail again,” Arpaio told the Associated Press. “I don’t know why judges keep letting this guy out. Every time he goes in there, he gets out on bond. I’m hoping this is the one time he’s going to pay the penalty for his offense.”

Because of X’s celebrity status, Arpaio confirmed that the Yonkers native would be held in protective custody.

“They [inmates] may not like his music,” he quipped. At press time, a bond has not been given in DMX’s case, and his lawyer Cameron Morgan has declined to comment.
